Birthday Celebration Kits:

We believe that every child is worth celebrating!  To help equip social workers to support families in providing that celebration during times of crisis and transition, Beloved offers Birthday Celebration Kits.  Each celebration kit includes:

Cake mix

Can of soda (which replaces eggs, oil, and milk, so that no additional items are needed to make the cake)

Can of frosting

Party plates

Plastic forks

Fun napkins

Candles

Birthday banner

Disposable cake pan

Yes! Beloved maintains nonprofit status as a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax deductible.

100% of all donations go directly toward the costs associated with filling and distributing Beloved Bags and creating tools that make community support accessible to foster families and individuals authorized by DCS to provide kinship care. Because all of our administrative work is performed by skilled volunteers, Beloved’s operation uses no donated funds for overhead expenditures. Everything that we have and receive is dedicated to serving vulnerable kids in our community.

Teen bags, child bags and infant bags cost between $85-$100 to fill.  

Multicultural Hair Care Kits cost $70.

Feminine Hygiene Kits cost $55.

Birthday Celebration Kits cost $30.

Volunteers distribute Beloved Bags and other support items to agencies serving vulnerable and displaced children throughout the state of Indiana.  In addition to DCS offices, Beloved Bags are available to children at domestic violence shelters, homeless shelters, detention centers, and triage care facilities.
